Qualification: Full time (4 years) BE/B.Tech course from reputed Institute /University in the following Engineering disciplines –Electronics /Electronics & Communication/ E&T/ Telecommunication. First Class in the indicated qualification for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST and PWD candidates. Method of conversion of CGPA to percentage has to be attached.
Post Qualification Experience as on 01.04.2021:
Candidates should have minimum 6 (Six) months of post qualification industry experience in the following areas is desirable:
1. Experience/Knowledge on:
a. Ethernet communication 10Mbps to 10Gpbs, LAN & WAN Concepts
b. Ethernet Layers (TCP/IP), IPv4, IPv6
c. Switching equipments like Routers, Switches, Hubs, Etc
d. Ethernet & Optical Test Instruments
e. TDM, PDH(E1-E4), SDH(STM-1to STM-64) Communication.
f. Voltage regulators, Inverters, Batteries used in communication equipments g. EMI/EMC standards and testing methodologies
2. Responsibilities
a. Main Activity: Installation and commissioning of projects in Field on pan India basis especially in north-east India and J&K.
b. Other related activities: Develop Test Set ups for Testing of PCB/Module/ Unit Level
c. Develop ATEs (Automatic Test Equipments) for Hardware Testing using automation tools like Boundary Scan/Flying Probe tester/LABView, etc
d. Testing & Troubleshooting of in house designed embedded (FPGA based) PCBs/Modules/Systems
e. Offering of Equipments to customer for Quality Checks
RESERVATION: The above mentioned posts are reserved for General Category candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
a) Candidates should meet the qualifying criteria as specified in the advertisement. Internal candidates of BEL are not eligible to apply.
b) Candidates who are meeting the specified criteria will be called for a Written Test, for 85
marks.
c) Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on merit in the written test, in the ratio of 1:5.
