POST: Sr. Engineer (E-III grade) OR Dy. Manager (E-IV grade)

Location of posting: Bengaluru
Qualification: Full-time 4 years B.E./B.Tech from an AICTE approved College / Institution or reputed University, with First Class,in the disciplines of Electronics / Electronics & Communication / Electronics & Telecommunication / Telecommunication / Communication.
In addition to B.E/ B.Tech, candidates should have a full-time 2 years M.E / M.Tech degree from an AICTE approved College / Institution or reputed University, with First Class, in RF / Microwave discipline. The Degree certificate should clearly mention First Class and the discipline as RF/Microwave. Candidates with M.E/M.Tech in other disciplines need not apply. The decision of the selection committee w.r.t. accepting any variation in RF / Microwave disciplines will be final.
Post-Qualification (M.E/M.Tech. degree) Industry Experience as on 01.03.2021:
The minimum required post-qualification industry experience is 2 years for Sr. Engineer and 6 years for Dy. Manager, in the areas of design, development, assembly/realisation& testing of RF & Microwave circuits, modules & sub-systems including:
1. Design & realisation of RF/Microwave Modules like Low Noise Amplifiers, Power Amplifiers, Filters, Hybrids/Couplers, Switches, & Mixers.
2. Working knowledge of RF Budgeting for RF/microwave products & sub-systems, using ADS/AWR CAD software tools.
3. Working knowledge of circuit design/simulation tools like ADS & AWR MWO and 3D EM tools like HFSS & CST
4. Working knowledge of mechanical CAD tools like AutoCAD/SolidWorks.
5. Analog, Digital, Power Supply & Control circuit design & layout using software tools like Allegro/OrCAD, EAGLE, or CADSTAR.
6. Hands-on knowledge of using RF/microwave test & measuring instruments like Vector Network Analyser, Spectrum Analyser, Signal Generator, Noise Figure Meter and Power Meter.
Only relevant post-qualification industry experience will be considered – Teaching experience / Research experience will not be considered as Industry experience. The decision of the selection committee, with respect to relevance of experience and selection of candidates in specified grades (Sr. Engineer (E-III) / Dy. Manager (E-IV)), will be final. Work experience indicated without supporting documents, will not be considered.
UPPER AGE LIMIT: The upper age limit, as on 01.03.2021, is 32 years for the post of Sr. Engineer (E-III) and 36 years for the post of Dy. Manager (E-IV). Persons With Disabilities, who have the prescribed certificate issued by the Competent Authority indicating minimum 40% disability, will be eligible for age relaxation of 10 years, over and above the age limit specified above.
RESERVATION: The above mentioned posts are reserved for General Category candidates.
SELECTION PROCEDURE:
a) Candidates should meet the qualifying criteria as specified in the advertisement. Internal candidates of BEL are not eligible to apply.
b) Candidates who are meeting the specified criteria will be called for a Written Test, for 85
marks.
c) Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on merit in the written test, in the ratio of 1:5.

Application fee:
a. The prescribed application fee is INR 750/- (Indian Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only)
b. The application fee should be remitted through SBI Collect (through online mode or through SBI Branch). Candidates are requested to read the details and screenshots for making the payment.
c. Candidates can also make the payment by approaching SBI branch. You have to select SBI branch in the payment option and download pre-printed challan generated through SBI Collect and deposit the application fee (as applicable) plus applicable bank charges in any SBI Branch. The candidate should ensure to obtain the seal and signature of the bank official.
d. Candidates have to enter the “SBI Collect reference No.” generated after payment, in the Application Form. The receipt should be attached with the Application form.
e. Candidates may go through all instructions and eligibility criteria carefully before remitting Application Fee and submitting the application. Fee once paid will not be refunded.
